We are coming to end of another quarter of saving money, calories, and time! How did you do?
Did you focus on the end from the beginning?
Did you shape your day by praying a simple prayer, "What is my most important now?"
Did you have any successes? I'd love to hear a few of your success stories this week--both on the blog and phone call. Be prepared to share one story (in less than one minute or in one paragraph) that will encourage our group.
Next quarter, we'll have over 90 in our group! If you haven't signed up, please be sure to do so or call Reggie. Note: Remember, the Q3 blogspot will have a new address which will be mailed to you at the end of June!
Be encouraged,
Becky

Wanted to share a light moment for everyone.
ReplyDeleteYesterday my 83 yr old Mom was saying how she never got anything accomplished.
I looked at her firmly and said, "Mom yes you do, and it's the small successes that count!"
"This is just a sardine......." ;-)
(have a blessed weekend, and praying for the group and financial situations).
That made me smile--AND consider adding another significant marker in our group of sayings: JAS (sounds like JAZZ with a whisper).
ReplyDeleteJust a Sardine. Let's do it! Let's make it our next saying...to serve as reminder that we can't get upset and overwhelmed with those small things--irritations and disruptions--that don't/won't matter in the long run. Okay everyone?

I just returned from a long driving trip out west with my family. We cleaned out my in-laws condo in record time...giving almost everything to a local charity. There were boxes and boxes of stuff stacked in closets and storage that had never been used...it felt so good to give it all to people who need it. It was freedom, freedom, freedom when we were finished. I have come to a new level of giving! I can't wait to go through our house and give away stuff. One of my most favorite worship songs has these lyrics: "All I have is Yours Lord...the more I give the less I need...I know that you'll provide for me...I was blind but now I see...all I have is Yours". Thank you Becky!
